NEST Conference 2024

NEST Conference 2024

The NEST Conference provides an opportunity for the NEST Community to meet, exchange success stories, swap advice, learn about current developments in and around NEST spiking network simulation and its application. We particularly encourage young scientists to participate in the conference!

The Virtual NEST Conference 2024

The NEST Conference 2024 will again be held as a virtual event on Monday/Tuesday 17/18 June.

  • Tadashi Yamazaki, University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo

  • Behnam Ghazinouri, Ruhr University Bochum

  • Benedetta Gambosi, Politecnico di Milano

Call for Contributions

We invite everyone to share experiences made and results obtained with NEST during the conference. You can do so either by an oral presentation, on a "poster", or in a workshop.

  • Discussions on talks can optionally be continued during the poster session.

  • Posters will be accompanied by a short advertising flash talk prior to the presentation at the poster session.

  • Workshops are extended sessions for interactive work and discussions.

Please submit your contribution by 30 April 2024.

To submit an abstract, you need to register in our conference management system. This is managed via the Helmholtz AAI system. Please check if you can find your institution in the list of institutions supported by Helmholtz AAI. Then, you should be able to register via your home institution. If this does not work, you can also use your GitHub account to register via the Helmholtz AAI. Please contact us at conference@nest-initiative.org if you should experience problems.

We plan to give you feedback by 8 May 2024.

Registration

Please register by 7 June 2024.

The registration fee for NEST Initiative members is 20 EUR and for non-members 50 EUR. Note that you can profit from the reduced fee by becoming a NEST Initiative member before 26 April 2024! See https://www.nest-initiative.org/membership/ for details.
